The design process of this uniquely located villa demanded exceptionally high standards and meticulous attention to detail. The owner’s primary request was for the living spaces to be clearly divided into functional zones: social living areas for adults, a dedicated section for children, a spa & wellness zone, and independent service quarters for staff.
A key design objective was to ensure that these areas offered both privacy and fluid connectivity. This seamless spatial planning preserved ease of movement in daily life while maintaining a sense of individuality and intimacy for each family member.
Every space was personalized according to the residents’ lifestyle and aesthetic preferences. By combining natural materials, the airy textures of Aegean architecture, and modern design elements, ENG Design & Construction created a cohesive living environment that embodies both functionality and refined elegance — a signature hallmark of the brand.
PROJECT GOALS, TASKS AND CHALLENGES
Nestled in the untouched nature of Göcek, Muğla, this exceptional villa was brought to life through the owner’s desire for a minimalist architectural concept and ENG Design & Construction’s timeless design vision.
Designed as a two-story open-plan residence, the villa is organized around a central indoor courtyard that connects all spaces harmoniously. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels and sliding doors dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, while also opening onto the inner garden — leading to a serene reading corner furnished with comfortable seating and a refined side table, ideal for moments of calm and reflection.
The ground floor features a spacious open layout where the living and dining areas coexist in perfect balance. The combination of marble, wood, and metal materials paired with a gray-toned color palette creates a modern yet elegant atmosphere.
In the living room, two distinct seating islands are centered around a sculptural marble fireplace, allowing for flexible use — whether for social gatherings or intimate relaxation.
The Home Wellness area, attached to the main structure and overlooking the garden, opens to nature through expansive glass openings. Here, comfortable lounge elements, a spa, and relaxation zones offer a tranquil retreat tailored for the residents.
The garden, adorned with diverse plants, flowers, and shaded by ancient trees, provides a perfect escape from city life. The veranda, featuring a large dining table and modern chairs, invites guests to enjoy open-air dining in Göcek’s mild Mediterranean climate.

Sitting Room
Surrounded by expansive glass panels and a double-height ceiling, the living room seamlessly invites the surrounding nature indoors, embodying the essence of modern elegance. The contrast between light gray and dark marble textures lends the space a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere.
At its center, a three-sided fireplace serves as both a functional feature and a striking visual focal point, defining the spirit of the room. The Minotti-designed seating ensemble, with its contemporary forms, gives the living area a welcoming and refined identity, while the carefully curated lighting design accentuates the architectural lines of the space, enhancing its sense of depth and harmony.
Dining Area
Bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, this outdoor dining area harmoniously blends the clean lines of modern architecture with the tranquility of nature. The linear pergola system provides both shade and ambient lighting, creating a comfortable dining experience in every season.
At the heart of the space lies a large wooden dining table, surrounded by elegantly designed, comfortable chairs that invite long, relaxed gatherings. The minimalist white façades contrast beautifully with the surrounding lush greenery, lending the space a fresh and airy atmosphere.
Designed as a venue for both intimate family dinners and lively conversations with friends, this area perfectly captures the balance between simplicity, elegance, and natural harmony.
Pool and SPA
Natural light streaming through the large glass panels transforms the indoor pool area into a serene retreat seamlessly connected with nature. The elegant color palette of soft gray and beige tones is complemented by modernly designed loungers and lush plant decorations, enhancing the sense of calm and sophistication.
A large-scale floral wall panel adds an artistic character to the space, while the blue LED ceiling lights emphasize the tranquil essence of the water. Designed as an integrated whole with the sauna and relaxation zones, this area stands out as one of the villa’s most exclusive living spaces, uniting aesthetic refinement with functional comfort.
